(More customer reviews)We bought the England's Stove Works 25-PDV pellet stove. If the stove worked properly, it would be a fantastic piece of machinery. Unfortunately, from the beginning, the stove has not worked smoothly. Have had blower issues, auger issues, constant noise, error messages, and consistent shutdowns. To those who claim that product and customer service fabulous, I say, "Wow!" Are you sure?? We've had nothing but heartache right from the beginning. The stove is cleaned and maintained daily to the utmost degree. You'd think the machinery was a Lamborghini instead of a pellet stove. Horrible, horrible, despicable product. So unreliable & problematic. Would never go near this company for endless reasons again. Should have done more homework. The company does not provide technical services (everything is your own out-of-pocket expense even if the parts are under warranty), 24 hour customer service is not available, and no weekend customer service at all. NOTES from the Field:
PROS:
Cooking on cast iron is always better.
Can use as a smoker by putting pellets or wood chips under the grate
Grease burns away for easy clean up
Can use two side by side for a large "tailgate" cooking surface.
Lid is completely removable.
CONS:
Cast iron grates need to be oiled and kept up (I use Camp Chef CSC-8 6-Ounce Bottle of Cast-Iron Conditioner to keep it black.
If you fill the grill with higher fat meats it will drip a little since it cant burn off all the grease.
(this is only a problem if you are not camping or have it on a deck) Solution pad or cardboard for huge burger cookouts.
Sometimes I wish it had a hinged lid because when you take it off "where do you put it?" the step up model has a lid and deluxe handle.
works only on a camp chef stove.
Overall, the best accessory for your Camp Chef Stove....
the Griddle may be a close second.
If you cook as much as me you need products that can stand up to frequent use, from the field to the grill

It is heavy, but, as with most of Camp Chef's stuff, it is very, very durable. This griddle is perfect for the camper or excursionist who doesn't need to carry his cooking equipment far from his vehicle, and who regularly cooks for many people. It has a grease gutter and drain, and cleans easily.
This griddle is specifically designed for use with a two-burner stove, but also works great on a three-burner stove. We use it on a three-burner, and keep a Dutch Oven on the spare burner to put cooked food in and keep it warm.
The surface area of this griddle is very large, and so can handle cooking for many people at a time. If you need a large griddle for your stove and expect to heavily use it, the Camp Chef griddle is ideal.

(More customer reviews)When we bought our new woodstove, I wanted some elbow length (for me, a woman) leather gloves to protect my hands and arms when I carried wood in, and again, when I added wood to the hot woodstove. No more burned forearms when I accidentally brush against the door frame of the stove!
I know they're supposed to be gloves for welders, but I can highly recommend them for any chore where you need complete protection of your hands & arms.
