(More customer reviews)I recently purchased a Stanco Metal #GS-1200 Grease Strainer Cup/Lid which was heavily damaged during delivery. Upon contacting the company, I was told that there were no more in stock and that I could just mail the item back. I informed them to mail the item back was more expensive than the item itself. Later that day, a representative called to inquiry as to why I was dissatisified with the company. After explaining the situation, I was given a full refund of the product and my shipping and handling cost returned as well. I appreciate business like this and would consider purchasing from this company again.

(More customer reviews)I needed a fish fryer. This looked like a fish fryer, but was labeled a Turkey Fryer. I bought it anyway. This is definitely a small item fryer or a fish fryer. NOT a turkey fryer. It even says right on the box: NOT FOR TURKEYS. So, how is it as a fryer? It does the trick. Nothing special. The instructions are very confusing and difficult to follow. They are for two different fryers. The metal ring at the bottom that came with my fryer must be for the other model. The holes to screw it in would not align. Since I needed this item for a party, I used it anyway and just put the ring inside for support of the legs. If I had bought this locally, I would have returned it for those reasons.

(More customer reviews)Only one down-side I notice. The pour-spouts on the sides are not sufficiently pronounced to avoid spilling when pouring oil out. Otherwise the product is perfect for my purpose. P.S. I think an oil/candy thermometer would make a good companion for this item.

As long as everything you order is ok then fine. If you have an issue then don't depend on Bayou Classic fixing it. This is a ma and pop outfit and they don't have the resources to handle the volume of business they are doing.
